John Ntim Fordjour

John Ntim Fordjour is a legislator, Mineral Engineer and priest.
He is a third term Member of Parliament for Assin South Constituency and the Ranking Member of Parliament Committee on Defence and Interior and member of the Education Committee and Human Rights Committee of Parliament.

Fordjour served as Deputy Minister for Education in Ghana between May 2021 and Jan 2025, where he committed to education transformation and creditably shaped policies on foundational learning, STEM education, inclusive education and Free SHS/TVET. Together with the Minister and team at Ministry of Education and partners, Fordjour was instrumental in driving incredible education outcomes across all levels of education.

Prior to public service, Ntim Fordjour’s sterling delivery of the Owner Maintenance Project (OMP) as the Human Resources Superintendent of Gold Fields Ghana Ltd Tarkwa Mine in 2010, saw the creation of Heavy Mining Equipment (HME) Department with over 450 critical/scarce skills local and expatriate personnel, while he managed the Human Resources function of the largest surface mine in West Africa with over 4,500 permanent and contract staff at a young age of 24.

Fordjour has a multi-faceted background in Engineering, Economic Policy Management and International Relations. From a humble beginning of basic education in rural Assin Kruwa, he graduated from University of Mines & Technology (UMaT), Tarkwa with a Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Engineering at age 21, obtained a Master of Arts degree in Economic Policy Management from University of Ghana and Certificate in Anti-Corruption Methods and Good Governance from Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA. Fordjour is at the concluding stages of PhD research in Political Science at the University of Ghana.

Rev Ntim Fordjour serves as the Senior Pastor of Victory Bible Church International, Higher Heights Sanctuary at Lakeside-Accra.

He is married to the beautiful Tracy and blessed with 4 children.
