Mr. Ballantyne is a seasoned executive with decades of experience in healthcare corporate matters, contract negotiations, regulatory affairs, compliance and risk management, employment law, HIPAA Privacy and security matters. He is the co-founder and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of MedInd Group, a Medical Services Organization that provides C- Suite and clinical operations services to medical practices across the United States, and some foreign countries. In the last ten years, Mr. Ballantyne has supervised the creation and expansion of medical practices including solo practitioners, multistate multispecialty operations and national brands, such as Nectar. He has advised global product and biologic manufacturers on reimbursement, pricing, patient access, and CMS issues which affect their bottom line. Mr. Ballantyne works closely with MedInd Group clients to develop strategic business plans that increase the likelihood of financial success.

Mr. Ballantyne began his professional career at the World Bank in Washington DC as a Feasibility Analyst for Sub-Saharan Africa’s capital expansion projects in conjunction with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). His experience at the World bank continues to drive his interest in Africa leading to the creation of Project2Morrow, an education and technology platform that focuses on providing Pan-African Students access to Canadian and American higher Education. As a compliance and risk management analyst for Merrill Lynch, Mr. Ballantyne focused on regulatory affairs, legal liability and financial risk assessment across many business sectors including healthcare, real estate, re-insurance, and international capital development projects.

Mr. Ballantyne is passionate about Health Care and believes that law, advocacy, strategic planning can be used to serve the greater good of patients. Mr. Ballantyne holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations, a Masters’ Degree on Institutional Management from City University of New York, and a Law Degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. Mr. Ballantyne is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
