Project2Morrow, with registered offices at Geneva, Switzerland (the “P2M”, “we”, “our” or “us”) is a global education initiative committed to partnering with African nations to build inclusive, modern, and sustainable education systems. Through strategic collaboration, technology integration, and policy support, we are helping shape tomorrow’s classrooms — today.

P2M operates and makes available the website www.Project2M.org as well as subdomain websites and digital platforms (hereinafter “Website”/“Websites” and collectively “Digital Content”). P2M makes them available to the users of the Digital Content (individually “you” or “Visitor” and collectively “Visitors”) under the following Terms of Use:

1. Agreement to the Terms of Use

Digital Content may contain features including blog, report and newsletter services, event, issue and community pages, member areas, digital platforms (including features for purposes of analysing our Digital Content, its availability and accesses to it) and other applications that may be available from time to time. Please read these Terms of Use carefully before accessing to Digital Content. These Terms of Use contain conditions, disclaimers and other provisions, some of which limit the P2M’s liability. By registering and accessing Digital Content you explicitly agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

2. Account Registration

Before accessing Digital Content, you are required to create an account with us. You will need to provide certain information as part of the registration to access and use the features of the Digital Content as a Visitor. Information provided for registration must be accurate, correct and up-to-date. We reserve the sole right to verify and deny access where information you provide us is incomplete, incorrect, inappropriate and/or missing. You agree to be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your passwords or other account identifiers which you choose and all activities that occur under your account. By registering you agree that:

  • (i) your account and password are personal to you and may not be used by anyone else to access the Digital Content;
  • (ii) you will not do anything which would assist anyone who is not a registered user to gain access to any registration area of the Digital Content;
  • (iii) you will not create registration accounts for the purpose of abusing the functionality of the site, or other users; nor will you seek to pass yourself off as another user.

You agree to notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your password or account identifiers by others.

3. Paid Subscription to Digital Membership

You may also access to advanced features and exclusive community engagement on Digital Content (“Digital Membership”) that is subject to the fee indicated next to each type of engagement on this page. After registering and creating an account as per section 2 of these Terms, you will receive a membership confirmation email. The Digital Membership is available to all Visitors with professional affiliations. Digital Membership and Digital Membership Pro will renew automatically every month and Digital Membership Enterprise will renew automatically every year, unless you decide to terminate the Digital Membership by cancelling your subscription. The termination will be executed by Stripe (see below) and you will still be able to use Digital Membership until end of your current paid subscription.

The P2M may change the price for the Digital Membership from time to time and will communicate any price changes to you in advance and, if applicable, how to accept those changes. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change. If you do not agree with a price change, you have the right to reject the change by cancelling your paid subscription prior to the price change going into effect.

P2M uses third party payment platform, Stripe, the Stripe API, and in conjunction, your Stripe account to process credit card transactions. By accessing Stripe you agree to be bound by Stripe’s Terms of Service https://stripe.com/ch/ssa. You are responsible for all transactions (one-time, recurring, and refunds) processed through Stripe. P2M is not liable for any loss or damage when using your Stripe account, including errant or invalid transactions. This includes transactions that were not processed due to a network communication error, or any other reason. If you process a transaction, it is your responsibility to verify that the transaction was successfully processed.

You have 7 days of trial period that can be used for Digital Membership or Digital Membership Pro. In case you decide to upgrade during your Digital Membership trial period to Digital Membership Pro you will not receive additional trial period days. The membership continues after the trial period for the full price.

For the avoidance of doubt, trial period cannot be used for Digital Membership Enterprise. You can downgrade to Digital Membership or Digital Membership Pro during the year via the “My Membership” page in the portal but downgrade will come into effect at the end of the annual membership.

4. Code of Conduct

You agree to use Digital Content only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of Digital Content. Prohibited behaviour includes but is not limited to harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person, transmitting obscene or offensive content, or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within Digital Content.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All copyright, trade marks, design rights, patents and other intellectual property rights (registered and unregistered) in and on Digital Content and all content (including all applications) located on the site shall remain vested in P2M or its licensors (which includes other users).

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer, post, broadcast, download, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use Digital Content content in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from any Digital Content content except for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of Digital Content content requires the prior written permission of the P2M.

The names, images and logos identifying P2M or third parties and their products and services are subject to copyright, design rights and trade marks of P2M and/or third parties. Nothing contained in these Terms of Use shall be construed as conferring any licence or right to use any trade mark, design right or copyright of the P2M or any other third party.

6. Availability of Digital Content

Although P2M aims to offer you the best service possible, we make no promise that the services at Digital Content will meet your requirements. We cannot guarantee that Digital Content will be fault-free. If a fault occurs with Digital Content, you should report it to us and we will attempt to correct the fault as soon as we reasonably can.

Your access to Digital Content may be occasionally restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to restore Digital Content as soon as we reasonably can.

7. P2M’s Right to Suspend or Cancel Your Account

We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these Terms of Use. You can cancel your registration at any time by informing us in writing. If you do so, you must stop using Digital Content. The suspension or cancellation of your registration and your right to use Digital Content shall not affect either party’s statutory rights or liabilities.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

All content, information and materials provided on Digital Content are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind either express or implied. Other than as expressly stated in these Terms of Use, P2M does not make or give any representation, warranty or undertaking in relation to Digital Content or its content, including but not limited to the quality, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the content of Digital Content.

P2M shall not be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business or loss of profits) arising in contract, tort or otherwise from the use of or inability to use Digital Content, or any content contained in it, or from any action or decision taken as a result of using Digital Content or any such content.

P2M is not responsible for the availability or content of any third-party websites or material you access through Digital Content.

9. Third-Party Content

Visitors may see advertising material submitted by third parties on Digital Content. Each individual advertiser is solely responsible for the content of its advertising material. P2M accepts no responsibility for the content of advertising material, including, without limitation, any error, omission or inaccuracy therein.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless P2M, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of Digital Content, your violation of these Terms of Use, or your infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.

11. Privacy Policy

P2M’s Privacy Policy explains how we treat your personal data and protect your privacy when you use Digital Content. By using Digital Content, you agree that P2M can use such data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms of Use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Geneva, Switzerland.

13. Changes to the Terms of Use

P2M reserves the right to change these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. If we make significant changes, we may notify you by other means such as email or posting a notice on our homepage. Your continued use of Digital Content after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Use.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will remain valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

15. Applicable Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the substantive laws of Switzerland, under the exclusion of any international treaty and under exclusion of any conflicts of laws principles. Exclusive place of jurisdiction shall be Geneva, Switzerland.

Privacy Notice

Project2Morrow (hereafter the “P2M”) is committed to complying with data protection laws and to the protection and confidentiality of the personal data of users of the Strategic Intelligence online platform (hereinafter also referred to as “User”, “you” or “your”). In this Strategic Intelligence Privacy Policy (the “Policy”), we explain how we collect, share and use personal data we obtain from you when you register, access or use our Strategic Intelligence platform (“Strategic Intelligence”) and how you can exercise your data privacy rights. P2M wants you to be well informed of the gathering and use of your personal data through Strategic Intelligence. Please read this Policy carefully prior to entering your personal data and using Strategic Intelligence. Identification of the controller

P2M, with registered offices in Geneva, Switzerland, processes your personal data as a controller in accordance with applicable legislation with regard to the processing of personal data, namely Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter “GDPR”) and any applicable national data protection acts, including the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection of 19 June 1992 (Status as of 1 January 2014) (together referred to as “Data Protection Law”).

What types of personal data do we collect?

P2M may collect and process the following types of personal data about you:

  • Information that you provide voluntarily
    • Identification details (including your name, first name, company or affiliation)
    • Contact details (including email address)
  • Information that we collect automatically
    • When you visit Strategic Intelligence, we may collect certain information automatically from your device.
      In some countries, including countries in the European Economic Area, this information may be considered personal data under applicable Data Protection Law.
    • Specifically, the information we collect automatically may include information like your IP address, device type,
      unique device identification numbers, browser-type, preferences, broad geographic location (e.g. country or city-level location)
      and other technical information.
    • We may also collect information about how your device has interacted with Strategic Intelligence, including the pages accessed and links clicked.

How do we use your data and for what purposes?

P2M processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To analyse and monitor general trends and patterns in the use of Strategic Intelligence
  • To improve the content, performance and organization of Strategic Intelligence
  • To promote P2M’s image and activities on our website or social media to a broader public
  • To internal data analytics
  • To send you information related to your membership, such as Digital Membership confirmation, trial series emails, or other membership-related communications
  • To send you invitations to future activities or events
  • To send you Strategic Intelligence newsletters (weekly and/or monthly) and quarterly content updates
  • To inform you about Strategic Intelligence product updates and special membership offers
  • To communicate with you, i.e. to respond to your questions
  • To facilitate platform engagement within P2M’s various platforms

We will use the personal data we collect from you only for the purposes described in this Policy or for purposes that we explain to you at the time we collect your personal data. However, we may also use your personal data for other purposes that are not incompatible with the purposes we have disclosed to you in accordance with Data Protection Law.

On what legal grounds do we process your personal data?

In general, we will process your personal data in order to manage our relationship with you and to execute the Terms of Use of the Strategic Intelligence platform. We may also be required to process your personal data in order to comply with local laws and regulations. Otherwise, we will process your personal data in order to carry out our business legitimate interests, where such interests do not override your fundamental rights and liberties. Where required, we will ask you to provide your consent for certain processing activities.

Where the provision of personal data is based on a statutory or contractual requirement, or a requirement necessary to enter into a contract, you are obliged to provide us with this personal data. If you refuse or do not allow us to process your personal data, you may not be able to benefit from all the services offered by P2M.

Who do we share your data with?

P2M may share your personal data with the following parties:

  1. P2M Entities – P2M may share your personal data with its entities in other locations around the world, for example, to answer your questions adequately.
  2. Third Party Service Providers – P2M shares your personal data with third party service providers, e.g. to host your data or for security purposes. P2M will ensure that third parties accessing personal data comply with the same data protection requirements as P2M.
  3. Public authorities – P2M may share your personal data with local authorities to the extent deemed necessary for the purposes set forth in this Policy, in particular for security reasons or as required by mandatory laws and regulations.

How we protect your privacy

We will process personal data in accordance with this Policy, as follows:

  • Fairness: We will process your personal data fairly, being transparent about how we process it and complying with Data Protection Law.
  • Purpose limitation: We will process your personal data for specified and lawful purposes only.

Personal data uploaded into Strategic Intelligence will be processed by P2M in Switzerland, and if applicable, in the United States or other countries where P2M or its affiliates operate. How long do we keep your personal data?

P2M will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy. For example, we may retain data where we have an ongoing legitimate business need, such as providing requested services or complying with legal, tax, or accounting requirements.

Minors

Certain services we provide on the Strategic Intelligence platform are available for individuals below the age of 18. Access will be provided on a case-by-case basis and a separate privacy policy will apply.

The Strategic Intelligence platform may include links to third-party websites not operated or maintained by P2M. Data processing on such websites, including cookies, is subject to their own policies. P2M is not responsible for their practices and use of such websites is at your own risk.
